Job Description:
Join our friendly, patient-focused dental practice, where we prioritize high-quality care and a positive work environment. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team and help us provide exceptional patient experiences.
Responsibilities:
Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort.
Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment.
X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols.
Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options.
Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems.
Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
Appointment Scheduling: Help manage and confirm patient appointments.
Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred but not required
X-ray certification and familiarity with dental radiography
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Willingness to comply with safety and infection control procedures
