Role Summary:
The Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting the dentist in providing efficient and comfortable clinical care. This includes setting a positive tone for appointments, engaging in purposeful conversations with patients, and ensuring a warm and welcoming environment. The role involves comprehensive patient care, efficient scheduling, and cooperation with the front office team to ensure seamless delivery.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in the state of North Carolina.
Proficiency in chairside assisting, X-rays, impressions, and sterilization procedures.
Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
In-depth knowledge of practice systems and philosophies.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures, maintain patient records, and support patient education on oral hygiene.
Ensure proper sterilization and organization of instruments and operatory areas.
Manage lab cases, communicate effectively with the lab, and handle patient referrals.
Enter accurate treatment notes and maintain detailed records in computer systems.
Oversee inventory, conduct chart reviews, and organize the back-office areas.
Complete Daily checklists and assigned tasks within the practice's operational platform.
Manages and coordinates the ordering of supplies.
Key Goals/Benchmarks:
Achievement of production goals and support for overall practice strategies.
Efficient execution of procedures within designated timeframes.
Effective debriefs and coordination with front office staff.
Positive patient reviews and generated referrals.
Leadership and Teamwork:
Proactive communication between the front and back office.
Active participation in staff meetings.
Upholding the practice philosophy in all actions and decisions.
Utilizing admin time to prepare for the next day efficiently.

Ultrasonic equipment, Autoclave
Diagnodent Laser, CEREC
Digital-rays ââ¬â Cone beam and Panorex
Intraoral and clinical cameras
Blood pressure monitoring tools
EagleSoft, Dental Intelligence, Nexhealth, Peerlogic Phones
Spear Education
Team Hours - Includes Morning Team Huddle and Team Training.
Monday / Wednesday 7:15 - 5 (Lunch 1-2)
Tuesday 11 - 6
Thursday 6:45 - 3
Every other Friday 6:45 ââ¬â 1:30
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 ââ¬â 40 per week
