Thomson Family Dental is looking for an experienced, compassionate Associate Dentist to join our team! As a family-oriented practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care, we’re excited to offer this opportunity for someone to grow with us. In April, we’ll be moving into a new, state-of-the-art building equipped with advanced technology, designed to create an optimal environment for patient care and comfort.
Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Provide high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including exams, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and other general dental services.


Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans that align with each patient’s health goals and needs.


Preventative Dentistry: Educate patients and families on preventative oral care, including proper brushing and flossing techniques, dietary choices, and the importance of regular check-ups.


Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry: Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges, and offer cosmetic services like whitening and veneers, utilizing our latest technology to enhance outcomes and patient comfort.


In-House Crown Fabrication: Use our advanced technology, including PrimeScan and 3D printing, to fabricate crowns in-house, providing patients with efficient, high-quality restorations.


Emergency Care: Address dental emergencies, providing compassionate and effective care to manage pain, trauma, and urgent needs.


Use of Advanced Technology: Integrate our new dental technology, including digital X-rays, 3D imaging, and electronic health records, to provide accurate diagnostics and efficient care.


Patient Relationships: Build trusting relationships with patients and their families, ensuring a welcoming, reassuring experience from start to finish.


Team Collaboration: Work closely with our skilled dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to coordinate and enhance patient care and office flow.

Position Requirements:

Licensing and Education: Must be a licensed dentist in the state of Georgia and hold a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.


Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental practice, with a strong background in general dentistry.


Patient-Centered Approach: Dedication to creating a comfortable, respectful, and friendly environment for all patients.


Technical Skills: Experience with modern dental equipment, including PrimeScan and 3D printing, and a willingness to learn and use advanced technology.


Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to explain procedures clearly, answer questions, and engage patients in their oral health journey.


Commitment to Learning: Desire to grow with our practice, stay updated on industry advancements, and adapt to new technologies and best practices.
