Oragen, LLC, a prominent network of oral surgery offices, is seeking skilled, dependable Dental/Oral Surgery Assistants to join our team on a contract basis. This “as needed” role involves traveling to our various office locations, primarily in Utah, to provide support in times of staffing gaps—whether due to unexpected absences or vacancies.
Position: Traveling Dental/Oral Surgery Assistant (1099 Contract)
Location: Primarily in Utah, with potential for travel to other offices in Idaho, Kentucky, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Colorado.
Type: 1099 Contractor, As-Needed Basis
About the Role:
As a Traveling Dental/Oral Surgery Assistant, you will have the flexibility to accept assignments when they align with your schedule. We’ll reach out to you when support is needed across our offices, often to cover absences or during transitional periods, and you will work alongside our dedicated teams to provide top-notch patient care and ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in oral surgery procedures and pre/post-op care
- Support the patient experience by preparing rooms, sterilizing instruments, and aiding the clinical team
- Travel to designated Oragen locations as needed, depending on office demand and availability
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental or Oral Surgery Assistant (required)
- Relevant certifications (CDA, RDA, etc.)
- Ability to travel, often on short notice
- Flexibility and adaptability in various office environments
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
No weekends
