Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides care to assigned patients, in all age groups. Primary job duties include but are not limited to: Assisting the oral surgeon as necessary, setting up and maintaining a safe surgical field, maintaining familiarity, function, and proper care of all OR equipment and instruments, initiating responsibility for care of specimens, and performing other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Must be qualified as a Dental Assistant and renew annually.
CPR Certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire, with renewal every two (2) years.
Educational Requirements
Completion of an approved Dental Assisting Program and Certification or Registration in ND.
Experience Requirements
Prior experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not required.
