About Us:
We are a close knit family dental practice. Many of the staff has been here for years, and so have the patients. We strive to keep up to date with procedures and technology, having started out as digital 18 years ago, up to our iTero scanner.
Job Overview:Currently the Hygienists are helping the doctor but we would like to get back to a dedicated Dental Assistant. We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients.
Duties:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory rooms- Take and record patient vital signs
- Take radiographs, operate intraoral camera and iTero scanner.- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist- Maintain a clean and sterile environment- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices
Requirements:- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems- Knowledge of infection control protocols- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations- Ability to work with pediatric patients is a plus- Understanding of general dentistry procedures- Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques
