Job Description

OverviewWe are seeking a full time dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate would be an organized self starter and great team player. This position requires excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
We value teamwork and take pride in backing each other up by cross training the entire staff.
Office Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:00 A.M -5:00 P.M. Wednesdays being an optional half day.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Setting up and cleaning up operatories for each patient.
Take dental X-rays.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix Dental Software.
Ensure the sterilization area is clean, organized, and compliant with health regulations.

Skills

Certified X-Ray License.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices.
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Experience with Dentrix and Dexis is a plus but not required.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
