Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join an established private dental office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for providing high-quality dental services. This role is essential in delivering comprehensive dental care in a supportive environment, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and experience.
Duties
Provide general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning.
Perform dental procedures such as extractions, fillings, and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry to ensure efficient patient care.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Manage patient records accurately using Epic or similar dental software systems.
Work effectively in a pediatric dentistry setting, providing compassionate care to young patients.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in dental practices.
Experience
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with infection control standards and procedures is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
