Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in dental billing and coding, with a strong understanding dental terminology and coding systems. This role is essential for ensuring accurate billing processes, managing collections, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities

Process and review Dental billing claims for accuracy and completeness.
Utilize coding systems to assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare provider insurances and patientsto resolve any discrepancies in billing information.
Manage accounts receivable, including follow-up on outstanding payments and dental collections. Ongoing billing to paties and collections phone calls
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dentalbilling regulations and compliance standards.
Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring timely processing.
Generate billing reports and analyze data to identify trends or issues in billing processes.
Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding their bills and payment options.

Requirements

Previous experience in a Deental office setting is needed.
Proficiency in dentalcoding, including knowledge of relevant coding systems.
Familiarity with Dental terminology and billing practices is essential.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
Proficient in using billing software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
