Job Description

We are looking to hire a FULL TIME Front Desk/Dental Assistant for our rapidly growing GP office in Sterling. We are private practice with staff who have been with us for 10+ years. We feel that our office is special and we truly take care of our patients in a way that is unmatched. We are looking to bring on a new team member who is open to learning how we do things and will be able to be part of our family for many years to come.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience with the following - but are always willing to train the right candidate.
- First point of contact for the office with the ability to answer a multi phone line
- Check in all patients
- Confirm appointments & fill schedule for any next day cancellations
- Check emails & respond within a timely manner
- Verify & enter all new patient insurance/breakdowns into Open Dental accurately
- Scanning of EOBS

Sterilization and disinfection of all instruments and equipment
Maintain cleanliness of each operatory in accordance with state applicable infection control guidelines
Prepare tray setups for dental procedures and manage appropriate supplies in each operatory.
Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed by the Dentist
Record patient charting
Polishing
Support Dentist during treatment procedures
Take digital x-rays
Assist in managing and controlling supply inventory

Working days/hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5/5:30 PM
NO Fridays or Weekends - We strongly believe in a work/life balance :-)
