Dentistry in Bellevue, a general dental practice located on the border between downtown Bellevue and Kirkland, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. Our practice operates four days a week, with office hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and two Fridays a month, and we have two general dentists who rotate between our Bellevue office and our second location in Kent. In addition, we have a skilled periodontist who sees patients two times per month. As a dental assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures by ensuring cleanliness, proper sterilization, and availability of necessary dental instruments and supplies.
Assist the dental team during dental procedures, providing chairside support, passing instruments, and operating equipment as instructed.
Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) and maintain accurate patient records.
Perform dental laboratory duties, including the fabrication of temporary crowns, models, and impressions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance.
Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols.
Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed.
Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the dental office, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient delivery of dental services.
Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
