OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated team. Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for pediatric patients.
Educate children and their guardians on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on specific needs.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to provide four-handed dentistry during procedures, enhancing efficiency and patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, documenting treatment plans, progress, and any concerns.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and general dentistry practices to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications

Proven experience in pediatrics or a strong desire to work with children in a dental setting.
Knowledge of infection control systems and protocols relevant to dental hygiene.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks is preferred but not required.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children and their families.
Ability to demonstrate patience and empathy while working with young patients.
Understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential for effective patient care.
