Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. This pivotal role involves overseeing the clinical side, ensuring high standards of patient care, and facilitating effective communication between staff and patients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental assisting, with a commitment to maintaining a positive and efficient clinical environment.
Responsibilities

Collaborate with dentist to develop treatment plans and assist in procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems.
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures.
Foster a welcoming environment for patients, addressing their concerns and providing education on treatment processes.
Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, including techniques related to pediatric dentistry, implants, and prosthodontics.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental assisting role.
Dentrix knowledge a MUST.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and staff members effectively.
Certification in dental assisting or related field is preferred; additional training in specialized areas (e.g., Cerec crowns, implant dentistry) are a plus.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 36 per week
