Job Responsibilities of an Assistant Office Manager:
Assist with treatment coordination.
Update insurance breakdowns as needed for all patients.
Facilitate in-office collection of patient copays.
Assist with insurance aging as needed.
Assist with daily office duties, which includes:
Check-in/Check-out patients as needed.
Answer phones as needed.
Present treatment plans as needed.
Audit Doctor and Hygiene schedule for any mistakes, issues, etc.
Ensure the office is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure daily collection, production, and Google review goals are met.
Ensure recall and capacity scheduling goals are met.
Manage day-to-day interactions between employees and patients.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Open Dental software, demonstrating ease and confidence in its application.
Business Acumen: Possess a fundamental grasp of business accounting and Excel proficiency.
Leadership Acumen: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, driving them towards a common goal.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, embodying leadership, professionalism, and empathy.
Attention to Detail: Display meticulous attention to detail when overseeing patient records, appointments, and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
