Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a fast-paced dental office environment.
Duties- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care- Maintain accurate patient records- Perform office tasks as needed to maintain efficient operations
Qualifications- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures- Knowledge of infection control protocols- Experience with Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software- Familiarity with prosthodontics, general dentistry, and orthodontics- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques- Familiarity with 3D scanners is advantageous
