We are a thriving and growing organization, and our team is expanding across sites to support this growth. We are currently hiring a Dental Reception Team Leader based in Framingham, MA. The Dental Team Lead provides initial and ongoing training to dental reception staff, as well as monitoring and feedback to reception staff regarding daily operations at the dental reception desk. Assists the Dental Practice Manager in assuring that all necessary information is collected at the dental front desk. Salary Range: $20.00-$23.00/Hour Job Summary:
Perform all Dental Reception duties, including check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, pre-treatment estimates, sliding fee applications, scanning, and call queue coverage.
Assist with initial and ongoing training of dental reception staff.
Ensure reception staff accurately enters patient registrations, demographics, and insurance details.
Confirm paperwork updates, demographic checks, and UDS fields at every visit.
Collect family size, income, and sliding fee applications at each visit when required.
Verify Privacy and Consent forms for billing authorization.
Ensure insurance verification is added to patient charts.
Assist in securing insurance approval or payment for major procedures before scheduling.
Collect co-pays and balances, and provide accounting with documentation.
Monitor schedules to optimize provider productivity and address scheduling conflicts.
Ensure prompt entry of appointment cancellations from daily call reminders
Job Requirements:
Bilingual in English/Spanish or Portuguese is preferred.
Strong computer skills including typing, familiarity with Microsoft Office.
1-2 years work experience within a position requiring the use of excellent customer service and communication skills.
