We are currently seeking for a Dental Assistant to join our growing team who shares our values for comprehensive care. Ideally, you should have at least one year of dental assisting experience, with a drive to learn and contribute to our mission. Self-motivation, positive energy, and dependability are priorities for our staff. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and the potential to take on leadership and mentorship responsibilities as our practice grows.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Assist doctor during procedures
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as needed
Provide post-operative care instructions as needed
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Skills
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Requirements
Infection Control Certification
BLS certified
Bonus points if you are familiar with Eaglesoft Dental Software

Personal protective equipment provided
Plastic shield at work stations
Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
Duties:
Assisting chair-side
Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
Using computers to update electronic patient records
Assisting with lab tasks as needed
Assisting with front office tasks as needed

Experience:
Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)
Eaglesoft: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
BLS Certification (Required)
X-Ray Certification (Required)
Certified Dental Assistant (Preferred)
