Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team two days a week. The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, be dependable and passionate about providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with dentists and patients to ensure a comfortable and effective dental experience.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring high standards of infection control.
Conduct documentation reviews to maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize Softdent/Carestream system for scheduling, patient management, and record keeping.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the office to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Softdent/Carestream or similar dental software systems is an asset.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and best practices within the dental field.
