OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, infection control protocols, and excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring it is clean and organized according to infection control standards.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times.
Assist in prosthodontics procedures as needed, demonstrating knowledge of relevant techniques and materials.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
A commitment to continuous learning in the field of dentistry, particularly in areas like prosthodontics.
