Associate General Dentist - Mondays and Thursdays - Coastal Dental - Capistrano Beach, CA

We are seeking a versatile General Dentist to join our esteemed dental practice located in Dana Point, CA 92624. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in general dentistry and a willingness to perform both dental restorative work as well as hygiene services on our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings (composite and amalgam), crowns, bridges, veneers, root canals, dentures, and extractions as well as prophylaxis and scaling and root planing
- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide preventive care
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their dental needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Collaborate with dental assistants and front desk to ensure efficient patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe dental environment
Experience:
- Medi-Cal Dental provider enrollment required (we have a large patient base of Medicaid patients)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed dentist in California
- Experience working with amalgam fillings
- Proficiency in using dental office management software such as Open Dental
- Knowledge of infection control systems and protocols
- Strong patient assessment skills, including the ability to diagnose oral health issues accurately
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards
