Hamouri Cosmetic and Family Dentistry is looking for a full time dental hygienist to join our wonderful dental hygiene team. Normal business hours are Mon-Fri from 8 am to 5 pm.

Responsibilities

Ensure patients' well-being and comfort prior and during exam
Prepare treatment room for patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols.
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Examine gums and teeth for conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Complete dental prophylaxis and arrest dental decay by applying fluorides and other cavity-preventing agens.
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Take comprehensive or single X-rays, as directed by dentist
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies

Skills

Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
Dental Hygiene Degree and license to practice required
Outstanding communication skills
A patient-focused friendly personality
Attention to detail
Readiness to work in high pace environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $56.00 per hour
