OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Patient Coordinator to join our warm, friendly team in a gorgeous, new, state-of-the-art dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental terminology and office procedures. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining efficient office operations.
Responsibilities
Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and greeting patients.
Ensure accurate patient check-in and check-out processes.
Oversee the management of dental records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Handle insurance verification and coordinate with insurance providers for managed care.
Treatment plan coordination.
Train and supervise front desk staff, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and office management.
Maintain an organized filing system for patient records and documentation.
Address patient inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their visit.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
Experience
1 year of experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental coding and Insurance verification is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and record management practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in open dental is preferred, but not essential.
