Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office Assistant to join our dynamic team at our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental staff. This position requires a blend of administrative skills and knowledge of dental procedures, making it essential for maintaining an organized and efficient clinic environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Schedule appointments and manage patient files accurately using Eaglesoft software.
Assist with insurance verification and processing to ensure seamless patient billing.
Maintain organized records of care plans, treatment notes, and patient information.
Support dental staff by preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments as needed.
Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
Assist in coding for insurance claims and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft software is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing files and patient records effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes is an asset.
A proactive attitude towards learning new skills related to dental administration and patient care.

Pay: $25.83 - $36.94 per hour
