Job Description

We are currently seeking a Dental Receptionist with at least one year of experience. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of obtaining breakdowns of benefits, contacting insurance companies to inquire about covered procedures and fee schedules, processing pre-authorizations, as well as entering and calculating downgrades and frequencies.
Job SummaryThe receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth processing of checking in. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of dental terminology, as well as experience with insurance verification processes.
Duties- Checking in patients- Handeling heavy call volume- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their insurance inquiries and billing questions.- Utilize Dentrix Ascend software for managing patient records- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
-Bilingual: Fluent in English & Spanish (heavy call volume)- Strong knowledge of dental terminology is essential.- Previous experience in pediatrics is desirable but not mandatory.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare providers.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
