Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Insurance/Front Office Coordinator to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing insurance claims, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring accurate billing procedures. You will work closely with the dentist and other dental team members to provide excellent patient care and support. Duties
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Process insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims
- Review and interpret insurance explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing information
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Stay updated on changes in insurance regulations and guidelines
Requirements
- Proficiency in dental coding
- Knowledge of dental terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Experience working in a dental office setting
- Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance verification processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing procedures
