Job OverviewAbout us; We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various dental procedures, provide excellent patient care, and ensure the smooth operation of the dental office.
Duties- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Provide support in various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics
Skills- Proficiency in perio assisting techniques and procedures- Knowledge of dental coding for billing purposes- Familiarity with 3D scanners for digital impressions- Understanding of anatomy relevant to dental procedures- Ability to take vital signs and record patient information accurately- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
