Job Overview
Our boutique office is a bright, new space at the heart of Salt Lake City. We are a small office that sees on average 7-15 patients a day. We are seeking an organized and professional Front Desk Office Manager/ DA to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our office, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly and personable demeanor, and the ability to multitask. Experience with front desk is not required, we just require a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in a courteous and professional manner.
Answering phone and texts
Schedule appointments and manage the office schedule
Processing claims, entering insurance reimbursements, and disputing claims with insurance companies.
Make treatment plans for patients and present them to patients.
Taking and keeping account of patient payment
Working closely with the doctor to provide the best, individualized care for our patients
Being able to jump and help in back office assisting doctor chairside
Requirements
Chairside dental assisting experience 1 year
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in schedule management and team management
Familiarity with dental office software and dental insurance
Familiarity with medical billing (or a willingness to learn) a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
