Job Description

Well-established General Dentist located in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a skilled and experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistant to join our team. Candidate will work efficiently and would provide a positive experience for our patients. To be considered for this role, you will need to have an EFDA license and X-ray certification. You should also have strong patient skills, be well-organized, and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assist dentist chairside during a variety of treatment procedures
Chart and take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Make temporary crown/bridges, place fillings, perform denture adjustments
Review dental records with patients, providing instruction on postoperative procedures
Prepare and break down operatory and equipment prior to and between each patient visit
Maintain accurate patient records

Monday to Thursday 9 am to 5 pm
No nights
No weekends
License/Certification:

Current radiography certification required
Current EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Assistant) certification required
