Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health.
Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with other dental procedures- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Take and develop dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Implement infection control protocols- Assist with dental reception duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- State licensure as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in dental systems and tools- Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques- Understanding of dental anatomy and procedures- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations- Experience in dental assisting is a plus- Knowledge of medical coding, documentation, and imaging is advantageous
