Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PT Dental Assistant to join our small dental clinic team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our dentist in providing exceptional patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to work in a rewarding environment, utilizing your skills in medical imaging, dental clinic procedures, and infection control. Willing to train the right person! Possible opportunity to move to FT down the road. Currently offering 2 days (can be flexible).
Duties:
- Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized clinic.-Included but not limited to assisting dentist with cleanings, fillings, extractions, RCT, and crown preps.- Utilize dental imaging technology to capture high-quality images for patient records and treatment planning.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, utilizing Eaglesoft systems to ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.- Ensure adherence to strict infection control protocols, adhering to OSHA guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.- Perform general dentistry tasks, including taking X-rays and assisting with dental procedures.- Collaborate with the dental team to provide a comprehensive and patient-centered approach to oral healthcare.- Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.- Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.- Current certification as a Dental Assistant, as required by the state.- Proficiency in medical imaging, dental clinic procedures, and infection control.- Strong communication and organizational skills.- Ability to work effectively and maintain a high level of focus and attention to detail.- Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 14 per week
Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Assistant (Required)
