OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental team in various procedures. This position requires a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure that all patient information is up-to-date.- Perform dental radiography (X-Ray) as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and sterile environment.- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.- Manage appointment scheduling using Eaglesoft- Support pediatric patients with a friendly approach to ensure their comfort during visits.- Assist in various dental specialties including prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
SkillsThe successful candidate will possess the following skills:- Proficiency in medical records management.- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques.- Experience with medical imaging, particularly X-Ray procedures.- Familiarity with Eaglesoft
- Certification in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring (preferred)
- Certified Dental Assistant preferred but not required

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
