Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist with various clinical tasks, maintain patient records, and ensure a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Manage patient records accurately, including medical history documentation and medical coding when necessary.
Operate dental equipment such as XRays and Pano for imaging purposes.
Provide chairside assistance during general dentistry tasks.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dental clinic, ensuring all areas are organized and free of hazards.
Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow and enhance patient experience.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with medical records management systems, particularly Eaglesoft, is great, but not required.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and general dentistry practices is essential.
Experience with endodontics or advanced dental procedures is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
