Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during surgical procedures, including prepping the patient, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring the surgical area is prepared and maintained.
Take CT scans, Upload images for planning, take excellent patient photos, pour models, make temporary crowns on implants, and fabricate custom healing abutments.
Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort.
Listen to learn the patient's goals and make clear pass-offs to the doctor and other team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Manage patient records, including documenting procedures and updating medical histories.
Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, collecting payments, and maintaining inventory.
Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent experience with at least 2 years of experience in an advanced restorative or surgical setting.
Proficiency in assisting with oral surgeries, including extractions, implants, and other complex procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Knowledge of dental software and office procedures is a plus.
