Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team .The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering top-notch services.
Hours: Monday & Wednesday 8-5, Tuesday & Thursday 7:30-3:30
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Take dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
Requirements- Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred- Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients- Certification in Dental Assisting is required
