Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and treatments.
Prepare and organize treatment rooms, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Engage with patients to provide a welcoming and reassuring experience
Record patient vital signs and medical history accurately.
Maintain infection control protocols by following aseptic techniques and proper sterilization methods.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft for patient management and record keeping.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. We are happy to train the right candidate to meet state compliance and licensing standards.
Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry is beneficial.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices and infection control measures.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Proficient in using dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Aseptic technique knowledge is essential for maintaining a sterile environment.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
