We are seeking a dental hygiene assistant with a pleasant professional character and warm chairside manner. Full-Time employees have the option of a 4-or 5-day work week. Candidate should be qualified as a Dental Assistant I, have a current CPR and NC Radiology Certification.
Essential Job Functions:

Takes x-rays (when applicable) and seats patients for dental hygienist
Updates patient information in Dentrix for hygienist as needed
Assists dental hygienist in educating patients in proper oral health
Works alongside dentist during patient examinations to assist dental hygienists in being more efficient when needed
Assists dental hygienists with patients' follow-up appointments as needed
Assist dental hygienists with accepting payments and checking patients out as needed
Assists dental hygienist with charting for probing depths
Sanitizing operatory and prepares room for next patient as needed
Communicates with coordinator and manager about the flow on the hygiene hall
Prepare hygiene bags and new patient bags
Stock x-ray rooms during the day and at the end of the day
Shut down x-ray rooms at the end of the day
