Job Description

We're expanding our pediatric dental team here at The Little Tooth Company! We are a two-location pediatric dental practice with locations in both Southington and Waterbury. The position being offered is full-time, but can arrange part-time hours for the right candidate. We are seeking an individual to assist chair-side with the dentist, as well as to perform floating duties (sterilization, stocking, hygiene patient turnover, etc.) when not chair-side. The schedule we are looking to accommodate is as follows;
Monday 8:30am-5pm (Southington)
Tuesday 8:30am-5pm (Southington)
Wednesday 8:30am-5pm (Southington)
Thursday 8:30am-5pm (Southington)
Friday 7:30am-1pm (Southington)
Responsibilities Include:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments- Take dental x-rays
-Assist with inventory and supply stocking- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care-Assist with hygiene patient turn-over and other floating duties as needed
Qualifications:- Dental assisting certifications (ICE and Radiology Certifications Required)
-CDA preferred but not required as long as candidate holds ICE and DANB certifications- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment- Familiarity with dental software systems a plus, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
