Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in South Austin, TX! As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities:

Assist dentists during procedures, including preparing and maintaining dental instruments, equipment, and supplies
Take and develop x-rays, as well as maintain accurate records
Prepare patients for treatment, including seating, positioning, and ensuring comfort
Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, adhering to infection control protocols
Assist with patient communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks as needed
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest dental techniques and technologies

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or degree preferred
1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant; experience in a fast-paced dental office environment a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
Basic computer skills and knowledge of dental software (e.g., Open Dental)
Reliable transportation and availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional Saturdays
