Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform dental radiography and assist with the use of 3D scanners for imaging.
Manage patient scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up on treatment plans.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.

Skills

Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
Experience in dental assisting, including knowledge of prosthodontics.
Proficient in medical coding related to dental procedures.
Competence in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software for patient management.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively during procedures.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective patient communication and teamwork.

Pay: $19.93 - $24.00 per hour
