Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Perform thorough patient assessments and medical histories
Conduct dental cleanings and provide preventive care to patients
Perform periodontal charting
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventative care and the importance of regular dental visits
Diagnose and treat Periodontal Disease as needed
Administer fluoride treatment
Take and develop dental x-rays
Assist with patient recall scheduling
Patient note charting
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and sterile environment
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
Support administrative tasks related to patient management and medical coding

Experience

Knowledge of Eaglesoft or similar dental software
Proven experience in dental hygiene. Assisting or a similar role within a dental office setting is a plus
Strong knowledge of medical coding and insurance processes
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care
Familiarity with HIPPA regulations for patient privacy
