Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims Processor to join our team. The office are majority medicaide and PPO patients. Majority Chinese patients. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing dental claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental terminology, coding systems, and billing processes. This position is essential in facilitating timely payments and maintaining the integrity of our claims processing system.
Duties
Review and analyze dental claims for accuracy and completeness.
Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to processing claims.
Utilize coding systems in Dentistry to ensure proper classification of diagnoses and procedures.
Process claims in accordance with established guidelines
Maintain accurate dental records and documentation throughout the claims process.
Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims.
Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, coding practices, and industry standards.
Experience
Previous experience in dental billing, coding, or collections is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and understanding of various coding systems
Proficiency Dentrix Ascend software applications.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.
