Our private, two doctor practice is known for its exceptional care and service. We have the utmost respect for our hygiene team and view them as critical partners in the practice. We are looking for an upbeat hygienist to be a partner in our progressive hygiene department promoting comprehensive oral health care.
A warm, friendly, personality and a positive attitude are “musts” for this position. Our team works in concert together assuring our patients receive the best guidance to maintain their oral health for a lifetime. The practice culture is one of mutual respect, integrity and fun.
Our hours are Monday- Thursday, 7:45am to 5:00pm approximately 32 to 35 hours per week.
Desired Skill Set

Ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed
Conduct comprehensive oral assessments and evaluate medical histories
Identify conditions such as periodontal disease, occlusal trauma, oral pathology, and caries
Perform non-surgical periodontal therapies such as scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, as well as adult and children healthy prophylaxis
Administering anesthesia to patients to insure their comfort during procedures
Educate patients on proper oral care
Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Take digital X-rays
Maintain sterilization of instruments, cleanliness of operatory
Maintain excellent digital documentation
Communicate patient care with referral practices
Monitor supplies and treatment room
Participate in the advancement of the practice
