OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Conduct patient intake by recording vital signs and medical history.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for young patients.

Skills

Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs.
Experience in assisting during various dental procedures, including pediatric dentistry.
Familiarity with maintaining medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
