Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric dentistry and possess knowledge of medical records, vital signs, medical documentation, and medical coding. Familiarity with Dentrix systems, four-handed dentistry, and endodontics is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown treatment rooms- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Perform various office tasks as necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in a dental office setting- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices- Proficiency in handling medical records and documentation- Familiarity with medical coding procedures- Ability to assist with Dentrix systems for patient management- Competency in four-handed dentistry techniques- Understanding of endodontic procedures

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
