This position would be 3 days per week, 7:00-4:30. We offer competitive pay, as well as continual growth and development. There is also bonus potential after completion of 3 months of employment.

Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and performing oral examinations.
Clean teeth and apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed for patient evaluation.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with regulations.
Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Monitor and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and optimal patient experience, particularly in pediatric cases.
SkillsThe successful candidate should possess the following skills:
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
Proficiency in managing medical records accurately.
Experience in patient assessment techniques to identify oral health issues effectively.
Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in dentistry.
Background in dental assisting is advantageous for supporting clinical operations.
Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort during visits.
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care with a focus on education and prevention.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques relevant to dental practice.
Understanding of medical coding practices as they relate to dental services.
