Job Description

Private-owned, fee for service dental practice is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented dental hygienist. We are a patient-centered practice for children and adults, not a quota driven practice. We offer compensation based on experience, no penalty for patient cancellations or no-shows and appointment lengths are scheduled according to individualized patient needs. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists.
Responsibilities:

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques and periodontal health
Take and develop dental radiographs
Screen and document patients’ oral health status and medical history
Assist the dentist with procedures as needed
Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures
Manage patient appointments and records

Qualifications:

Punctual, responsible, detail oriented
Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of TX
Graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Passion for providing exceptional patient care
Commitment to patient comfort and safety
Comfortable with technology, including electronic medical records Eaglesoft and digital radiography

Full-Time/Part-Time Position:
Monday – Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Lunch 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.)
Friday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
