Job Description
At Murray Hill Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics, our mission is to provide the finest available dental care to everyone while ensuring an overall positive experience. We are a friendly, boutique-style office, with six providers that offer Pediatric Dentistry, General Dentistry, and Orthodontics. We are a 5-minute walk from Grand Central Station and from the 6 train on Park Avenue and 33rd St. We are looking to hire a FULL-TIME dental assistant who has the following:
Knowledge of dentistry, particularly dental procedures, instruments, sterilization, and hygiene
Experience administering dental X-rays (we use state-of-the-art technology including handling and operating the Nomad and VaTech)
Technical skills and proficiency used for scheduling, treatment planning and charting
Customer service and communication skills to ensure patients feel comfortable during appointments
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to multitask
Full-time Monday to Thursday, Some Fridays /1 Saturday a month.
**MUST BE A REGISTERED DENTAL ASSISTANT OR TRAINED ON THE JOB WITH EXPERIENCE OF AT LEAST 1 YEAR.
