Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. We have been a well established dental office since 1971. Our patients are our family and we pride ourselves in outstanding customer service. We normally work Monday-Wednesday. We are looking for someone to either work part time 2 days a week or our full 3 day a week schedule. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing a variety of clinical tasks, including patient assessments, cleanings, periodontal therapy and documentation.
Duties
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
Assist in the management of infection control protocols within the dental clinic.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with clinic policies.
We use Dentrix as our practice management software
Stay updated on current dental practices and advancements in hygiene techniques.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
Experience with documentation review and patient assessment processes.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
