Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the health of patients' teeth and gums.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and clean environment for all procedures.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Assist in various dental procedures, including general dentistry and pediatric dentistry, while ensuring patient comfort.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, documenting treatment plans and progress notes.
Implement infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care and support treatment plans.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies, including CAD (Computer-Aided Design) techniques.
Requirements
Valid dental hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.

Pay: $60,890.00 - $63,446.00 per year
