Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency in using dental software systems, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinic environment.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for various dental procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate medical records and manage patient information using Dentrix or similar systems.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage inventory of dental supplies and ensure the clinic is well-stocked.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging as needed.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with a compassionate approach towards young patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of care.
Requirements
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred; familiarity with pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics is a plus.
Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and medical records management.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is highly desirable.
Ability to perform medical imaging techniques safely and effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.06 per hour
